For those of you who have been looking for ways to fill your time, the recent zombie apocalypse brought about the complete loss of two of the Caring Hands Homeless Shelters, as well as damages to their main office. S.H.A.D.E.S will be meeting this week, Thursday, same time and place! Sorry about the hiatus, but someone couldn't be trusted. Good job to everyone, and congrats to those who won! I have had a few people ask me if they could join S.H.A.D.E.S even though it's the middle of term, and the answer is yes, come! It's open to everyone :)
I just got back from Caring Hands, and I just want to tell you all how many lives you beautiful ladies and generous gents you have touched. So many of our fellow Neopoloitans are without so many of the basic necessities that we take for granted- food, clothing and shelter, and by giving your time and money, you have helped improve the lives of many. If anyone is interested in doing any hands-on work for the shelter, you can always come to me or Austin Vera, and we can point you in the right direction.
I personally want to thank all the gallant, and not so gallant gorgeous guys who bid on me! My self esteem is through the roof! :) |

Hey everyone! S.H.A.D.E.S meeting is a little late this week: Thursday, June 18th, same time and place!
I want to thank everyone who came last week for coming, but I think we can all recognize that the conversations really went off topic. Cole and I ask that, when people come to a S.H.A.D.E.S meeting, that they come for the right reasons. We're there to talk about minority and mulicultural issues, not Band and League differences. We all have very strong opinions, but please try to think of S.H.A.D.E.S as a unifying experience.

I think the both of us can admit that last week's S.H.A.D.E.S meeting didn't go the way either of us were hoping. Your Our friends meant well, but I think it turned into exactly what we were both trying to stop.
I've been trying to write a reminder for the meeting tonight, and I'm having a hard time wording how I'm feeling. Can you think of a more tactful way to say "S.H.A.D.E.S is not the place for a Band-League throw down, please only attend if you're interested in multicultural affairs and not if you're only hoping to antagonize your nemesis."? |
